Treating Love Letters Like Junk Mail

She told the police on her boyfriend
They nailed him with a suitcase full of heroin
He was tried & sent to jail
She was paid in full, the money that she was promised for helping out
She moved into a nice apartment
After a while, she got some letters from him
He didn't know that she was the one that had set him up
His letters were full of declarations of eternal love
The only thing that kept him going was thinking of her each & every day he sat in his rotten, stinking cell
She laughed at the letters and threw them away
After a few months, she stopped reading them
She would get them and treat them like junk mail
After about nine months, the letters stopped
He decided to hang himself inside his cell with his bed sheet
She didn't care the letters stopped or that he died
