I was young I loved classic
crime fiction, agatha, baroness orczy;
and particularly the latter, since her
‘old man in the corner’ stories gave me the idea
for my old bloke in the pub.

Well, considering how much I like The Pimpernel, especially the Leslie Howard version, I'm gonna have to do a deep dive into that old corner dude to see what's what:)
