Worth it in the end
Every part of me tries to be the girl he needs
But no part of me understands
Why he tries to give up
He says he loves me so
Then tries to let me go
I've always just been me
And I try to make him see
I've always been here
One days he finally gets it
After all those breakups
There's always been makeups
Then one day he finally says he'll stay
He's done running away
After all these years
I'm starting to shed tears
As what comes next shocks me
He got down on one knee
And finally asked will you marry me
I of course said yes
And now I know he's mine
All those makeups
All those breakups
They were worth it in the end
But no part of me understands
Why he tries to give up
He says he loves me so
Then tries to let me go
I've always just been me
And I try to make him see
I've always been here
One days he finally gets it
After all those breakups
There's always been makeups
Then one day he finally says he'll stay
He's done running away
After all these years
I'm starting to shed tears
As what comes next shocks me
He got down on one knee
And finally asked will you marry me
I of course said yes
And now I know he's mine
All those makeups
All those breakups
They were worth it in the end
