none of those short-sighted greed-blinded mansions
20 rooms for one dude
he was a man for every season
& I paid attention
as current events expose a rotten foundation
I'm reminded of his philosophy
when the integrity of a structure
is no longer sound
tear it down
don't leave it standing
causing further dangers
pay attention to the issues
& don't repeat them
construct it better...

...always keeping an open mind
conscious of what you leave behind
