when nine ripples open

Who will sing me
Into the death-sleep sling me
When I walk the road to Hel
quote from the song helvegen by Wardruna
 .............................
 Carmine cloud weaver
wielding sentient surface
myriads of moons ago
fairest of glens

from crescent hand
hilled hips mother myst
birthing from a wolfs nostrils
dire was our heart
we tore at its flesh

we lived before
asphalt and pollution
began.

I wonder who will sing me over
when and if I die
my calendar is empty

stirring ingredients
a broth into
Al Khem Et

(alchemy)

alone
these lavender hems
fade into dark blue
knowing

there is no turbulence
among stalactites
and stars
