Juniors
Have you ever had a junior in your life
you know, the second to take the name
and give it to another wife
There is something about juniors you don't understand
they have something to prove to the man who came before them
I had a junior at a party no less
I was dressed to kill
he was dressed to impress
We met by happenstance.
I was supposed to be with another
He didn't show up and lost his chance
It was at a house party that we met
His cousin's birthday party
wait, it gets better, yet
Penny had a thing for her Daddy's friend
I couldn't understand how her daddy
Could trust that man
Back to junior, I drifted off
The music changes tempo
as we wandered off
For a guy, he was innocent, as can be
Why do they always land in my lap?
Please tell me
The lights were dim
We danced real slow
Grinding in rhythm
Any harder, he’ll blow
I pulled him to the couch
Way in the back
I asked him
“Do you want a snack?”
With a questioning look
I reached for a grape
I placed it on my tongue
And he ate
To say that kiss was sweet
There was no comparison to the heat
We were generating
Junior got into the groove
As tongues and bodies began to move
Then like ice, water was thrown at us
Penny’s mother began to fuss
“Boy’s get the hell out it’s late.”
Penny hiding in the corner
Making sure her dress was straight
Junior looked at me with intent
“It was nice to meet a new friend.”
One last kiss and he was hooked
Junior would never give up on Fia
He was shook
Penny and I crashed into her bed
I looked at the hickey near the back of her head
I shook my head and laughed at that
She looked at me
“You ain't give junior none of that.”
With a yarn and wink
The smile the devil would know
Give us twenty more minute
Junior would have a taste of down below.
