Mama, why?
Mama, why do you turn away?
It's like you never want to look me in the eyes
Until you are screaming,
Then all I see is a blaze of who you want me to be.
A bleeding creature, mother and child,
What curse have you turned upon me?
That which I have always been destined to stumble before,
Is that which still hurts most deeply.
It's like you never want to look me in the eyes
Until you are screaming,
Then all I see is a blaze of who you want me to be.
A bleeding creature, mother and child,
What curse have you turned upon me?
That which I have always been destined to stumble before,
Is that which still hurts most deeply.
