transport me elsewhere, I am daydreaming
flying on a fantasy
drifting on the air, it's a beautiful day
the winds enchant  
whispering to me, in hushed tones
encouraging, he's waiting, they chant
 
I feel the crush of velvet, under my feet in the green
the garden beckons and I get lost in reverie
unwinding, writing my cares on the delicate petals  
forget me not  
 
the day ushers us into a waking state of dreaming
clinging to your memory I sigh within
my soul longs to touch
 
desire beckons and I follow her in
your stoic glance, the only sunshine I need
in the shade I rest
I'm traveling the shadows to be where you are
 
peeking in on you
seeing your lust I ache
my thoughts massage your loneliness
and you imagine us together
but know better
 
we two are solitary creatures
enjoying each others company in nature
she provide the bounty and we cavort
going our separate ways later
with the inclination to disturb the waters tomorrow
 
winding around each others soul
a tether to our coming and goings is formed
wrapped up in a feeling, we float
up and away  
 
i'm back in the garden
