You clearly don't hold me
In an opinion as high as I to you.
You clearly don't care about me
As much as I do.
Then why is it so hard to accept
And push through?

All you know
Is the surface.
No one pretends
And everything is perfect.

I'm starting to realize
What you did was not okay.
It cut it deep, it can't be fixed
No matter what you say.

I still care immensely
And I know you don't

The sky broke.

And everything came crashing down
Throughout the downpour,
I still thought highly of you
