Why?
You choose this life
You choose what is away all the same
You swap out for a different pain
The kind you never wanted
Why?
You do this to yourself
You made the choice of chaos
You bent your knee and made this reality
I am to blame for many of these steps
Blame me
You tell yourself it's okay
You make it seem plain as day
You love what you love and try to ignore the pain
The type that makes your blood boil
Distract yourself.
You allow insults and privacy derailed
You allow hate spewed to no avail
You allow the words to hit you smack in the face
Can you recall a single time I uttered such in his place?
No you can't.
You can't name a single name weaponized against you
You can't quote one word
You can't tell me an insult I ever put upon you
The reason is simple
I never have.
You put yourself through this when life could be simple
You could put yourself in lights view and choose not to
You can't let go the pain of distance that kept us at bay
Those that would insult you, do not love you the same
This type of hate be damned.
You wait and wait
