Primum Non Nocere (First, Do No Harm)
Fresh thoughts don't love a haughty place
much as plants prefer fertile dirt
for growth expansion into space
and not a venue of more hurt
like what austerity provides
in old tough love die hard disguise
stabbing like knives at marching ides
or boasting brazen at demise
when austerity strips away
all pretense of love in its hate
with..."go ahead and make my day"...
proving itself as not so great
since greatness must encourage growth,
as known by Hippocratic oath!

I reviewed the Hippocratic oath and wondered why that isn't public policy forever.
tough old love .. the diehard love .. this the truth of it all..lied & pretense cannot be the basis of any bond or government in that case or watever the context.. truth absolute is ever one . only One. all others die a deathful die .. It always seemed to me that "tough love" and "discipline" were often used as euphemisms for cruelty and punishment.

There's gotta me a moral compass/work ethic toward humanity and kindness so that when these people take public office they need to be held to that standard. If these were minimum wage jobs, how many of them would take it? There is a dark side to capitalism and it's ugly.

I definitely think we ought to extend Hippocratic ethics into every corner of society.
