I trust you enough  
To damage me    
Then put me back together again  
It’s always been a problem though  
Having the correct word  
Stop never works    
I’m too quick to use it  
When I don’t mean it    
Don’t for the same reason  
I’m telling you right now  
Don’t listen to me if I utter those words  
It can’t be a color  
I’ve tried all that  
Green for go  
Yellow for caution  
Red for…you get the picture  
I’m smiling for Christ’s sake  
I’ve even tried multiple syllables    
Trips me up every time    
Eggplant becomes elephant    
Sense a theme here?  
Maybe I should let you decide
