Image for the poem my garden lover

my garden lover

my sorrow builds inside me
it's a lovely day and I can't get the rhythm of it
mother nature blushes at my thoughts on love
seeking to touch her bliss
I disturb the spirits resting on the wind

an invitation is desired
I want to come in
to covort on the air
a green display with blues overhead
matches my moodiness

the trees are solemn
they gossip about me,
standing in the garden looking forlorn

little tree has lost her leaves, they whisper
shaken in the cold
while the eyes of angels peer into my soul
the blooms sigh

He is approaching, my immortal lover
tentatively I request to enter his presence
with a deep breath and heavy exhale
he utters come in

leave your heaviness of being behind you
sacred nature is in a good mood
affectionate shadows play
highlighting the beauty of the place

a smile touches my eyes and then my mouth
butterfly kisses touch my cheeks
in love with the moment I think to shout
the wind whipping about me
the day warms, calming

my lover looks at me in contemplation
studying my curves and mannerisms
he says your lovely when deep in thought

confident in the feeling I confide my love of him
secrets of my heart revealed
hidden passions understood
arousing my faith I touch the sky
giving him my life
may it always be so

the garden turns away quietly
while we kiss
