had acted as a stand in for his heart
even as it worked as a chrysalis
in syndication with his Adderall
to evolve neural function into venom
spat as demagoguery and Sharpie scrawl
never too far from his ogre frenum
routinely caught by photos, in a sneer,
or wide open cetacean blowhard hole
in all the ways lips can represent fear
and neuronal damage rigamarole;
too late to analyze when he is dead,
in lackey wake...and subsequent bloodshed.
