Doom

The skies could be a Gregorian chant
of all gray shades entirely composed
to vault heavenly when a sunbeam can't
which to another sky is predisposed
toward deep cerulean revelation
on shattered ruination colonnade
or likewise Olympic elevation
of panoramas, Gothically surveyed,
and precipiced above gradation shade
into which even angels may stumble
when their keys to majesty are betrayed
to chaos thunder and lightning rumble...
where Hell and Earth in mortality stand,
like General Custer...
                                   on Indian land.
