Propaganda got emotions running hot
Misinformation crowds an angry stage
Seems the internet can cause brain rot
Inciting the masses with constant rage

Help me understand how we got here
Political puppets are deciding our fate
It’s not a mere illusion it’s more severe
Wealthy families fighting over the gate

      I’m sorry fellow poets/poetesses I had every intention of writing this poem. Maybe I did write it, maybe it’s not meant to be what I call finished.

      My muse has other ideas in mind. She always gets her way, and she is pissed tonight. And it got to the point where she was screaming, “Damian, Rant it out!”

      I don’t really trust any politician or Government completely. I know they lie to me daily and are out to get rich while doing their owners bidding. They’re into crooked shit folks, corrupt acts of achieving maximum profit, and basking in what power they’re allowed to wield.

      Something is getting ready to go down. You follow? Every political era has slowly been moving us towards despair. I’ve read a lot of work on DU, and let’s just say we seem to have a consensus when it comes to politicians being puppets. After that I know we might start to veer in different degrees. That’s normal, nobody agrees all the time.

      Every since a certain individual got involved in politics, it’s like we’ve been being groomed to think his rhetoric is fine. When he does it, that is. Everybody else would of done been crucified for saying what he says.

      Bottom line is this, he’s saying what he’s going to do if elected. I don’t think he’s bluffing, people. It’s past that for him, he wants absolute power. The Republican party is divided, old guard versus new guard. There is panic.

      But using the language of past dictators is not a coincidence in my humble opinion. I’m sorry, but his group has got all the attributes of what would be classified as cultish behavior. If it doesn’t spew from his mouth then it’s bullshit. There is no reasoning with their opinions.

      If he wins the world is going to look mighty different, indeed. Remember win or lose, somethings gonna happen. They're still denying election results, nothing is off limits this time around. I’m fearful for all voters who vote against him. What happens to them? Imprisonment, death.. Who knows? Guess we’re about to find out.

      This isn’t a rock the vote ad. Your business is your business, I’m not here to stand on a soapbox and act as if what I’m saying is Gospel. I’m just a person who believes this doesn’t end in a civil manner. History tells us that this concern of mine has merit behind it.

      Anyways I’ve rambled long enough. Godspeed, fellow writers hopefully we will still have freedom after the election. Peace, Love, & Lennon.
