The Gamble

 
you are are all encompassing and my fire burns my senses  
moving in on my soul and touching me inside
with knowledge you must hunt the flesh or you will not satisfy
your ego needs stimulation
 
an older man seeking the affections of the younger sex
looking on from the sidelines I encourage your endeavours
building your pride without bruising mine
 
encouraging encounters of chance, a blush later I worry
please don't discount what I have to offer
my heart's not the only thing on the line
should your love falter
 
I'm very different than the world
my innocent nature and mental health would not allow me
to make it out there safely
 
having a heart for others plight  
 
do they not understand I need and love you?
 
anyone could love you but I fear for your heart and mine
