Heavenly Father

Heavenly father put the hand of compassion
Firmly on my shoulders
Lead me with your light
As the Son of the Spirit
Divines who I will be

Heavenly Father put the tool of empathy
In my grasp
Your Holy Spirit courses through me
As I become a vessel of God above

Heavenly Father put Jesus by my side
I am a foot soldier of love

Heavenly Father please  give me
A place for my soul to sleep
As I pick up the cross of my Savior
Spread his love all around

Heavenly Father please let me
Ask and I hope you say yes
Open the pearly Gates of Heaven
And allow me to enter
