Shattered glass
There is so much beauty in your heart
But all you see is dark
Because of what happened in your past
You tear your yourself apart
You see yourself through shattered glass
Instead of seeing your reflection
your eyes are stuck on the cracks
My love, look around what's skewing your vision
Look between the cracks
You'll see your true reflection
Even with the shattered glass
You'll see how pure your heart is
And how you put others first
The way you feel pain whenever I hurt
You'll see the way you showed me
exactly what I can be
I used to look at the cracks in my reflection
It's because of you that I can finally see
Truly look at your reflection
Don't look at all the cracks
I know it's hard
when you're looking at shattered glass
I wish I could change your perception
on the way you view your reflection
Fix the cracks in your shattered glass
Then maybe you would finally see
You are not the villain of the story
You are the hero that rescued me
But all you see is dark
Because of what happened in your past
You tear your yourself apart
You see yourself through shattered glass
Instead of seeing your reflection
your eyes are stuck on the cracks
My love, look around what's skewing your vision
Look between the cracks
You'll see your true reflection
Even with the shattered glass
You'll see how pure your heart is
And how you put others first
The way you feel pain whenever I hurt
You'll see the way you showed me
exactly what I can be
I used to look at the cracks in my reflection
It's because of you that I can finally see
Truly look at your reflection
Don't look at all the cracks
I know it's hard
when you're looking at shattered glass
I wish I could change your perception
on the way you view your reflection
Fix the cracks in your shattered glass
Then maybe you would finally see
You are not the villain of the story
You are the hero that rescued me
