epiphanies and throwing rocks

punish me for being
I was pretty once
then I still thought I was beautiful
and maybe I was, because my personality was or wasn't

my person shifts inside
slips in and out of focus and I lose time
forgetting who I am it's always been this way
coming and going these people all reflections of me

sexiness incarnate when my confidence is unshakeable
trembling in my shoes standing in the shadows
terribly mean perhaps even cruel with my words
honesty blushing she is most lovely to me
her melancholy smiles within me
and shyly approaches the idea of womanhood in the immortal sense

manipulating my time I'm shaking in my boots
it is the man himself who shows me pain
reflecting myself back to me
his innermost feelings for me plainly showing in the faces of others
angry epiphany when I snarl with complaint

he growls did I shake you awake
what you hate about that person is brought upon you
the way you view the world needs altering if you will ever see me

intimate is my desire
coming close to you sometimes I am assaulted by your rejection
then others I weep with the beauty you share soul to my soul

honey come back to me
enter into an understanding the essence of truth is me, you and the others
all evolving at different paces

disregard my teaching
it's up to you how long I address you as a child
woman come to me with faith, I know you can

courageous of heart I know you lioness
turn a phrase am I am too homely for thee?
suave and slick isn't the way lovely one
unless your swerving away from me

interstellar head on collision is coming
get your heart together
my soul comes in close
it's your hardness that makes you unapproachable

you choose rather to gather all the shiny stars
I'll throw then to the ground
and you can sew them into your pockets
then drown in their misery, after I cast you to sea
and you can cry harder maryter
