iv always wanted to go into painting... now you are giving me ideas... thank you

It's a visceral calling this art trade.
I had no art skills and one day at a museum something went off in my head and heart and my journey began.  There's no limits, just your imagination....

Tribal, cityscape - That kind of reminds me of the beat generation. There's poetry in the painting. Probably all your paintings, except boxhead. He's got a genre all his own. :)

I thought about putting a box head in but then ditched the idea.  This is a grit and grime offering.  My box heads are pure ..
I think it represents the rats and sleaze well !

That's a good question.
Sometimes yes but often not.  When I'm painting I use it as a meditative time.  I like just the silence without distraction.  That said when I used to do much bigger paintings with lots of wildness to them I did blast a lot of Rock !!
