Chaos and Confusion

 
The world has gone into chaos and confusion
Of sheer virtual delusions against reality
Relying on whispers and magic spells
Reeled in by unstable notions of morality
Even the sagest seem to have lost their way
Not really seeing how their vision has gone dark
Their moral compasses compromised
Sowed by greed where creed used to be the mark
Over time they’ve sold their souls to absurdity
Fighting demons that are not really there
In constant adulation of their own creations
Never being able to awake from the nightmare
So, the world keeps going into further commotion
As truth and honor get distorted by the storm
Now, even the fundamental cohesions are broken
In a universe that’s taken on an eccentric form
Torrents of insanity and madness brings this shame
Yet everyone points a finger trying to find the blame
