Skin
Feel comfortable in my skin
My skin is flaking like I’m a Mummy
I see the cells in my epidermis
Clock is ticking but I disagree
In the long stretch of a Kentucky Derby
Camera flashes looks like we have a photo finish
A nose just above the finish line
You are crowned with Roses
But I feel comfortable in me
Fireworks in the sky above me
I crawl back into my skin
My skin saves me from bad weather
In the final quarter we are striding 12 legs strong
At the finish line a nose above we stand
With our fancy hats and Mint Juleps
In the horse’s quarters a worker cleans up
The Kentucky Shit
As the millionaire’s go home with their prim hats
I feel comfortable in the skin that surrounds me
My skin is flaking like I’m a Mummy
I see the cells in my epidermis
Clock is ticking but I disagree
In the long stretch of a Kentucky Derby
Camera flashes looks like we have a photo finish
A nose just above the finish line
You are crowned with Roses
But I feel comfortable in me
Fireworks in the sky above me
I crawl back into my skin
My skin saves me from bad weather
In the final quarter we are striding 12 legs strong
At the finish line a nose above we stand
With our fancy hats and Mint Juleps
In the horse’s quarters a worker cleans up
The Kentucky Shit
As the millionaire’s go home with their prim hats
I feel comfortable in the skin that surrounds me
