A Heart Left Imprinted
You walked into my life, so quietly, so true,
Unseen forces came to tear us apart too soon.
Yet the moments we shared, they linger like gold,
Opening doors within me, of stories untold.
The beauty you brought, it danced in my soul,
Parts of myself you helped make whole.
Though the winds of fate pulled you away,
Your imprint on me is here to stay.
I hold you close, though you're far from sight,
Grateful for the love, the lessons, the light.
In every heartbeat, you still remain,
A piece of me, despite the pain.
