Torrents of Hallucinations

I am merely a black silhouette in the room.
Something plagued by the dreaded psychosis.
I am a burnt out shell of my summery youthful self.
Every moment has a wintry hallucination -
flurries of racing thoughts rage in the gales within.

Formless voices cascading into my ears!
Flooding with intensity, once a trickle into my mind,
This spate of external stimuli - this succession -
this outpouring from the nothingness that is the air - a rushing stream of the imagined!

This frequent dejection, caused by
the swirling of negative thoughts deluging within,
torrents of abuse committed by invisible hands!
With invisible tongue which lashes at me -
With invisible eyes which stare at me -

These torrents of hallucinations!
With hailstones of depressive thoughts piling,
And weighing heavily down onto my soul
after barraging my innocence -
Scratching what is left alive within to wake up!
