So true Damian, I used to bust my ass working 60 hours a week then after a few years realised what if I keel over and die, you would get no thanks just replaced by someone else... I pass this on to my colleagues now haha, great if you need the money but no amount of money is more important than your health, sorry for the ramblings again 😂🙃

There is so much truth in this piece of human behavior. Chilling amount. The second stanza is the touchstone of this piece to me. Feels like everyone is screaming into the void without consequence. Wonderfully reflective write. H🌷

This is a good way to put into perspective what opinions and judgments have done to American society.  It's often the next guy in line, just wanting to voice his end.  All of that is consumed by this "fire of greed" that you end your first stanza in.  At least, that's how it comes across to me.  I especially like the second stanza, and how the first builds into it.  It's like saying the wealth of the world is poor, in what man conceives as the answers, which is just individual opinions.  Anyway, I could be amiss in how I see it, but this is still definitely good.  Thanks for sharing!

You're pretty much on point. My philosophy about writing is mostly to let the reader make their own interpretation of the meaning. I sometimes leave things open-ended on purpose. Always enjoy reading your commentary, brother. Glad you liked the write. Appreciate you.
