A Book Perfume  

A book perfume        
       
       
the childhood times, paper planes, origami boats,        
the rains take away our papers, waterborne        
kids in the rains, immune naturally against pains        
too much communion to feel the least variation in tones        
one voice for a team of neighbour mates, with common whims      
       
long summer vacations, spent in swamps, in mountains        
in deep forests, looking for rare birds species,        
the hot summer nights, chasing bats in dirty ponds        
and moonlit nights, sneaking into neighbour's orchards        
stealing prickly pears, and grapes' growing seeds        
       
time of friends, silly pranks, and suburban gangs...        
time of games, no complains, time of laughs and cries        
action times, football matchs around the clock plays,        
       
and time for skillful brains, mathematical strains        
school tuitions,and exams, and teachers advices        
literary essays, and poetry improvisations        
and the new shiny books, glossy with wisdom perfumes        
       
lore inside, knowledge incenses the classrooms        
like eucalyptus' exuding a celestial tranquility        
geography books, adorned with landmarks and maps,        
and Hugo in a majestic pose, like a sage thinking        
" The Legend of the Ages ". a genius compilation        
       
poetry of a great letter man, the human evolution        
each book exhales its own scent, ts own fragrance        
and let spill its own vibes, a full completion        
times for learning, times for living, and loving        
times when we were in harmony with Mother Nature
