I am trying not to cry.
But it is hard to hold back
I don’t understand what went wrong
How can I make amends
This hurts, and it’s not my pride, you see
I put out the best work I can
And it’s never good enough to see
I put up a brave face
I smile, I joke, and I even tease
Even the strongest man
Will crumble at the knees
Maybe it’s just the day
Maybe it’s just the wrong time
Too many maybe’s rolling in my mind
I went dark to see if you can see my light
I am light, and still, I cannot take flight
I will be fine; there is another day
WTF is happening?  
Why do I feel this way?
