Fireflies

The golden moon
Sits in the night sky
Full, and glowing
Ever knowing
As she watches on
Sister Earth below
Echoes of her glow
Scampering
Across clear waters
Creating shimmering golden pathways
That stretch
Over the moonlit horizon
To a land
Of far away dreams
Where-in dwell
Ethereal beings
That hover with gilded wings
And golden hearts
Within the mysterious moonlight
like firey fireflies
