She likes her floors clean and her boyfriend dead

Martha Fokker of Lincoln, Nebraska greased the floor of her kitchen in an attempt to kill her one-legged boyfriend in 1993. She slipped on the floor and knocked herself unconscious instead. Police found more grease near the top of the stairs and by the bathroom door. The boyfriend, Lou Briccant, insisted that Martha was doing a little housework. Six months later, Martha fell backwards killing herself on a flight of stairs in the basement. She was carrying up that same bucket of grease that she tried using on her boyfriend to kill him. Was she going to clean the floors or attempt to kill him again?
