Unsung Headbanger

It’s crazy, I said I’d never go to things like this
Yet honestly my opinion has changed to sudden bliss
The music was far from my taste
But perhaps I made the mistake
Of bashing the genre
When there’s more to the mantra
It’s far from just anger
There’s a yell for love
And about their lives
How they survived
The jumping up and down
The screaming out in joy
Lovely night
A gin and tonic
I was out of my comfort
A long ways away from my smooth sunshine music
By the second song I had become
The unsung
A headbanger

Author's Note
I went to a metal punk rock concert for the first time. Honestly I usually say nay to that kind of music but I attended with a few friends and I actually had a blast. I definitely learned that not all their music is angry; in fact there’s actually a lot more emotion then what I thought, I wish I would’ve listened more when others tried to get me into their music. The bands that played were Apple of Eden, Ugly Cowboy and Playboy Manbaby
