A quickie
As we spread out on
the couch side by side,
the television illuminated the living room.
We'd made love all day
with just our eyes
and conversation.
When she lifted her leg
and giggled,
it was her invitation
to let me in.
After we stripped naked,
I couldn't tell you for the life of me
what we'd been watching.
