I particularly like the metaphors you use here.  It gives an idea of what testing out such areas of the mind can feel like.  Almost sounds like the justification of using for another day longer yet for an addict.  I hope you're not addicted to anything, especially involving a needle.  A pin cushion as a metaphor could go a long way in explaining many things, though.  It seems as though you find more comfort in home with this pain, as you lead up to.  Anyway, nice write - made me think a bit.  Good job overall, and I'll see you again!

Every line and title is a metaphor/reference in some manner, so you're correct.
I'll justify anything within my moral scope if I see fit.
Pin cushion is (as stated) intentional and it is what you hope it's not. Once you've gone that route you don't change methods usually. I'm not addicted per se, I generally binge and I wont usually say no to more. I won't do anything like stealing/robbing for it though.
My stupid depression goes way back so I'm kind of used to being miserable, unfortunately.
Anxiety helps to hinder socialising on top of that.
When I'm on here more often than not it's because I'm "happy", if my replies are short I'm not.
I don't like pharmaceuticals but apparently random shit from someone's basement is fine.

You inspired me to write a poem on the topic.  Again, I can't put into words how crafty and clever this is, in carrying definition and metaphor through weaving interpretations.  Glad to have read this.
