Marks

while you were sleeping

There's silence
dusts
I can't keep
wiping

Candle at the window
come home wanderer
follow the light to the door
warmth of the hearth
heart beats there

the candle flickers
the hearth is warm
the heart beats
return o'wanderer

the owls that hoot from trees beyond
show you a fantastic world
though only you can see...
within the cracks of time and space
you marvel in sights that none can glimpse

time to return
please

A heart on the Grass
in a lighter shade of green
upon a grassy field
a heart is carved
on the mat of grass

In shades of Lavender
leaves from trees
embracing the autumn sky
flutter to the grass below

...my heart burns...

Bright dawn illuminates the world
dancing light on the tree tops
soft breeze caressing my face
walk with me, hold my hand

I love you hold me don't leave me
hold me within the honeycomb of your brain
plant me in your mind

she is dancing blindly within the snowstorm

you are the one
who will forever light
your beloved’s way
like a bright sun ray
hiding your pain
to reassure
and comfort
I watched the twilight sky and spoke your name
did you hear me

you are uniquely yours
in all the words you share
here, in this little world
of poets, poems and some promises
we'll do another collab, won't we

Author's Note
Reading back #NoPoo Book 1, I saw many poets sharing their talents. I love the way we came together to write a book for someone (at least I was focused on that one, initially) with hope he'd read it when he got better. When he didn't wake up, the poems, mine especially, became a long eulogy if I can call it that. I gathered a few of my poems for this post. I will keep on collecting my insertions in #NoPoo until I get them all for my page. Thank you lepperochan for the dedication to Soul. A true friend indeed.
