the darkling faith
wavering in the intense spotlight
that highlights all my faults shaded with neon
my love of self scatters
to the shadows that are growing
standing in a circle they are my demons
I shine too brightly
the demons understand I'm half and half
from both kingdom I speak an odd language but they know it
while Father is away they protect me and my visions
there are beings about the premises who are ousted out of here
Saturn spins singing her song to earth
relaxing me and I turn down my shine
the glow hurts their eyes
Mischief comes forward and asks what is the chaos
it's nothing I must learn to stand for myself
Daddy insists the demons have sheltered since i was babe
if they feel any unease they circle and attack my enemies
Daddy wants me to become accustomed to the angels
but I've I was raised by Daddy and the darklings
the red and blue angels are very different
the reds are very fierce so are the blue
the demons think of me as their own child
edify the presence of our Father
he has returned to answer for himself
chastise not the child of the moon
covered with stardust
I see what you've done to disguise her
I have ambassadors here from other locations
who wish to know the lady fair
all I expect from you little one is a cordial greetings
and please no funny voices this time
last time they were sure I had raised an idiot
Daddy I love it when people underestimate me don't you
so you brought the braggarts back so sure of their superiority
so to that I would tell them braggarts brag a lot
Daddy if they simply would pay attention they'd gain wisdom
my men are in attendance I will not be revealing our language
our secret code is not extended as a challenge
it is as it is not to ever be discovered
