memories

a feeling lies it enters and intertwines with my thoughts
it's a faithful feeling that takes my breath away
I linger chasing the feeling that sings to me

lulled to sleep still I follow my phantom music
brewing with it until there is none left
tenderness swirls the witches' breath
stirring the smoke until I can see
an enchantment makes me comfortable
maybe a faint memory perhaps that is all some know

lost memories I guess forgetting is better
then remembering a past I can't correct
leaning on the crone's wisdom
who knows he's best for me
sorrow recognizes this kind of love
and she accepts this is the best

little dreamer your memories aren't yours to collect
I push the boundaries
and I'm met with resistance

sacred sun please tell me
how many lifetimes have I walked under you
he grieves for me and answers a great many
I've known some of you before
I call you out of your slumber

do you remember me?
