This Day Today

This Day Today
I do but pray
for the power
to now flower
and the glory
to rid the world
of needless mori.

I shall not be stopped in this task
the power for which I here do ask
I shall heal the world
and do the impossible
your divine will upon earth
you who are above and below
your will shall here show.

And I shall steer us not from the dark
or from what we fear
but to where we can rise above
these ingrained conventions
and become better
by braving the weather.

This is what I ask for today

And tomorrow stride forth and do it.
