what is more may be less
August arrives in a
guided carriage
the sound of late
summer sips on
my ears like morose
insects
too much has been
said
the tongue is more
poisonous than a
rattlesnake
too much has been
seen
eyes plucked out like
grapes from a bunch
to feed blackbirds
but not enough has been
thought
like not taking the last drink
and realizing you missed
getting drunk
