The Chameleon
Surrounded by warfare and I'm fatigued
I keep it camouflaged so nobody sees
No 33rd degree but I'm a righteous man
Seeking deeper knowledge so as to overstand
The demands of this game are overwhelming
Many days that I play are extremely exhausting
Taxing to my mental, physical, and spiritual cores
Many times I keep it simple and just stay indoors
More times than not I'd rather not even be bothered
But I prevail through HELL like a ship that's chartered
Departed from the dock as the clock counts down
Bearing disguises for naked irises instead of frowns
I keep it camouflaged so nobody sees
No 33rd degree but I'm a righteous man
Seeking deeper knowledge so as to overstand
The demands of this game are overwhelming
Many days that I play are extremely exhausting
Taxing to my mental, physical, and spiritual cores
Many times I keep it simple and just stay indoors
More times than not I'd rather not even be bothered
But I prevail through HELL like a ship that's chartered
Departed from the dock as the clock counts down
Bearing disguises for naked irises instead of frowns
