I Don’t Write Poems

I share my life
I open up my mouth
My heart
My head

Release
Every last thought
Until
I have the space
To breathe again

It’s much more cathartic
For me to post
Than to merely
Journal

Sometimes
I feel like
I owe ya’ll an apology
For treating DUP
Like my diary

I mean,
You could choose
To not read me

But what kind of fun is that?
