A Bird's Eye View

     
     
if the wars are raging      
and the heat is rising,      
if the smoke is smothering      
     
it's because we are not wiser      
     
if the faces are frowned      
and the hearts are stoned      
and the feelings cloned      
     
it's because we are not children      
     
if you hear much more blares      
horns, scorns, and raging flares      
and they live life, no one cares;      
     
it's because we are senseless      
*****      
     
because we are doomed      
not any solution assumed      
while nemesis has already loomed      
     
Nature basics and truth have been broken      
while time is swiftly passing      
and the Earth is poorly aging      
blind minds in lost fights engaging,      
     
so let  reconnect with the natural      
act and speak plainly normal      
simply take a walk in the forest      
watch the big critters and the smallest      
     
watch the skies for a moment      
then slowly to the mountain      
and then watch the pastures      
Harmony stems from Nature      
     
 or, may be !      
     
go surfing the ocean waves, or doing scuba diving      
and, carve our names on the coco nut palms      
taking a sailing trip, in wooden barks,      
with much light steps on golden sands      
     
or even , as morning shines anew !      
waking up earlier breathing in a herbal dew      
like the children skipping into the azure blue      
chasing the birds, collecting flowers      
on the  green meadows      
     
the wars will surely come to an end, even slowly      
and the summer will cool down on the sand, surely      
and our hearts will throb like the child      
poetry will be our real and only balm..
