Sorcerer

Castle walls surround me,
and starts this magical symphony.
Wand of Sorcery compels me to fulfill this destiny.
Its glow guides me along,
following the trail of the evil
I know.
Evil so vile, so quick,
Its strike will make you deathly sick.
Townsfolk of many have fallen prey to
this sly skinless thing of gray.
Skinless due to shedding away,
leaving all in fear every day.
Onward the sorcerer paces,
with enchanted spells that can erase this.
A smoke like dimmed corridor he
approaches.
Wand at the ready,
keeping it steady.
Dawning a bluish cloak of the night sky,
beard of well-aged design.
Sliding pressed to the murky wall,
peeking around the corner to see what
lingers along.
Eyes widen at what he sees,
as it slithers right in front of thee.
Struck by its piercing appearance.
Greenish gleam of its cynical retinas,
hold him stone cold frozen with fear
of being its next victim.
Lunging forward the evil narrowly misses striking
the wall he presses.
Fangs 6 feet long stick to the concrete,
buying time for the sorcerer to twirl, swirl, and cast out his deadly spell.
The sorcerer builds an electric charge, swinging about his wand into a massive ball.
Releasing upon the evil,
wrapped up, consumed up, swallowed up.
Scorched and torched, melted to no more.
