farewell
Troublesome each day
When the stars dip
The rising sun
Does little to lift my heart
Pleasant dreams shattered
With each spoken word
Who dare ask
For forgiveness at repose
When failing to forgive in daylight
There is no tenderness
With speech
That is filled with nails
I feel the death of love
Hope merely casting shadows
On two souls in decay
Each bitter moment
Now an eternity
