Jack and Lilly in Legend

The sun smiles
 the clouds weep
as I run in through the forest
it is you I seek

They do not know
lips are sealed
Until it meets yours
and the magic we weld

I call out your name
As I run in the meadow
little wishes float in the sun
I hope one is bestowed

You appear my young lover
my heart can now beat
You hold me in your arms
and our lips meet.

""Have you been sweet or were you tart?"
I giggle in his arms
He knew the answer
from the start.

"I am no sweet thing to be placed high above
I am no tart that you can take as you will my love
I am the blood in your veins
that brings you life
I am the one who has waited for you
My whole life."
