Time is the one dimension that allows development of the wisdom required to understand the profound nature of phrasing like this. Immortal beings must be kind of stupid, right? Why or how would they ever need to develop the necessary mental depth it takes to grasp at meaning like this? God must be an eternal child. Great stuff!
