If I Told You
If I could tell you everything that I want to say,
Would it be too much?
If I told you your eyes drive me insane,
Would it scare you away?
If I said your smile gives meaning to my life,
Would you think I’m nuts?
If I told you the butterflies haven’t gone away,
Would you laugh in my face?
If I admitted that I’d die to keep you safe,
Would you leave me today?
What if I told you I’ve never liked anyone this much?
Would that be enough?
If I told you I’d never hurt you,
Would that make you feel safe?
If I said your laugh gives me strength,
Would you believe that I’m sane?
If I told you I’d give you the world,
Would that make you happy?
If I admitted that I love you,
Would you stay with me always?
