What have you been up to?
Sat there half the night...
writing poetry again.
Nobody reads it you know.
Time is precious
and you're wasting it.
You want to get yourself
a proper job
something that pays,
one that takes care of the bills.
You may as well burn it all
along with those dusty old books.
You can toss them on the fire too.
Why, you'd be better off
ogling the porn sites,
at least then I'd know
you were a real man
with red blood in your veins
not some namby-pamby
wannabe poet
all floppy doe eyed
writing lovey-dovey lines
for some imaginary
virtual
bitch.

has been on a raving spree,your bitch trilogy slightly disturbed the prude in me, to be frank i was a tad incensed at the first one(Bitch1), but you evened it well, and this one i would say if spoken by a male would be the right one for me,i am wondering?Good one A

...I can't believe you (and Jack) have been so incensed by my bitch talk. I can only take that as a compliment of the highest order. Perhaps I should start putting a rider at the bottom of some of my poems to deter hate mail! Thanks for the feedback - you are funny.

oops i didnt intend it as hate-mail its just that most of the things uttered by the man in Bitch1 have been used at someone I know and she, a woman in her 50s was brutally hurt by them, it wasnt easy reading that, thats all A.Im sorry if I hurt you, did i?

Not hate mail from you - potentially from others. But your friend's story is exactly the type of thing I'm having a dig at. You'd be surprised how prevalent this attitude has become. As for being hurt - it's gonna take more than a pussycat like you to do that. Thank you (and Jack) for being such adorable nitwits sometimes.

lol, im a nitwit hihi,yes you are right A, the orange-peel attitude is so widespread, i have seen lots of it around myself,i didnt say that the poem Bitch1 didnt convey anything, it was just that, bcoz it came just like that form the abuser's mouth(ofcoz not you, but the speaker in the poem)lol, it pricked somewhere inside, and thats largely bcoz im mostly all fluid inside lol!

and thus very effective. Easily the best of your 'Bitch' trilogy, this one captures the psyche of the narrator with startling skill and ease and also makes some worthy insights into the modern perception of poetry and poets.

Actually these bitches were quite difficult to write, Jack. I can honestly say they almost turned my head inside out. This one should be the final take - unless of course I am struck again! Thanks for your kind words.
