Connie was only six when she was discovered gazing at a dead rat by Madame Jenny Taylor

One day Madame had to be removed to a private lunatic asylum and the school was shut down
Connie obtained a place in the ballet La Bayadere
For the next two years she danced in the provinces
She was given her first solo as Kitri in Miguel de Cervantes famous novel Don Quixote, others followed
Her life went on being fairly boring & tedious
After Madka Owdiseez did a Grand Jete and fatally killed herself, Connie took over Coppelia
Her parents only came once to visit her backstage
Bartolos Colonoscopy invited her to join his company, the most renowned in Europe
He changed her name to something more exotic
Her name was now Brooke N. Rubbers
Her life did not cease to be somewhat dreary
Bartolos chose her to dance a new Pas de deux, La Sylphide with Cole Ostamie
Her good friend Curley developed an unlikely infatuation with her
Bartolos told her that only art meant everything
Ivanov created for her a new ballet, Swan Lake, it was his greatest work  
Curley began to cough a lot, and had to go away to a sanatorium outside of Paris
Brooke all at once became chic & mysterious
She was seen everywhere with Bartolos
She had become the reigning ballerina of the age, and one of its symbols
Her life was really no different from what it had ever been
She was asked to dance in a charity gala before royalty at the Windsor Castle
While flying over the English Channel from France a great dark bird flew into the propeller of something called an aeroplane
She never arrived at Windsor
At the gala, her costume was suspended from the center of the stage  
A medley of music was performed from the most famous ballets she has performed
