Sacred Moon
when I look up at the heavens
the moon, like a
sacramental bread
held up in the sky
with the divine hands,
beckoning me for a
spiritual communion
Let me consume you, O moon
sanctify me with your
holy rays;
redeem me from my sins,
for I'm a sinner
You are the body
of the divine...
Let in this Eucharistic union
the rain falls like the wine
and cleanses me with its sanctity;
You stay in me forever
and I in you...
for I am a sinner;
consecrate me,
O moon...
the moon, like a
sacramental bread
held up in the sky
with the divine hands,
beckoning me for a
spiritual communion
Let me consume you, O moon
sanctify me with your
holy rays;
redeem me from my sins,
for I'm a sinner
You are the body
of the divine...
Let in this Eucharistic union
the rain falls like the wine
and cleanses me with its sanctity;
You stay in me forever
and I in you...
for I am a sinner;
consecrate me,
O moon...
