Dessert
I really like tiramisu cake.
Because my smile when I eat is not fake.
With creamy mascarpone,coffee bits.
Eating pure bliss while listening to funky beats.
Or maybe a chocolate sundae.
The chocolate made of magic and bliss.
it makes you smile,feel happy.
And reminds you of the flavours you miss.
Flavours you tasted as a child.
When you were still not tame, but wild.
Or perhaps a banana sundae.
Whipped cream,sugarcream.
While I share it with the one I love.
And talking about the times we've had.
Or maybe chia pudding,an unusual choice.
But it talks to you in a soothing, gentle voice.
The comforting flavour of chia seeds.
As if eating tiny, boba tea beads.
Cheesecake is good,too.
But if I'd said it is my personal favorite, that would not be true.
With some jam on top, sprinkle magic dust.
Bathe in comfort, and your happiness shall never rust.
But I would prefer a fresh bowl of fruit any day.
Oranges,apples,berries on display.
I would choose strawberries over icecream all the way.
A bowl of figs, raspberries and blackberries.
Drizzle honey on top.
And your stomach would be satisfied.
Nothing unhealthy or fried.
Just a bowl of fresh figs.
And maybe a piece of chocolate on the side.
I could eat a bowl of apples any day.
All this natural sugar on display.
It makes me feel eager in a way.
Eating fruit in the form of sorbet.
But I also like donuts, they bring me such nostalgia.
I remember when I was a little girl.
I would eat them in the city,so happy I'd twirl.
Sometimes it's flavours that make us travel.
And the memories we would unravel.
I would buy a candle with its scent.
To have this memory in my hands.
Oh,how much I love seasonal fruit.
They are delicious, and often cost a loot.
Sometimes it's dessert that brings us together.
And we will remember the flavours forever.
Come with me to the icecream shop.
And let's travel in our memories.
With dessert,time flies.
And the memory never dies.
Let's fly up in the skies.
And sleep peacefully through the nights.
Because my smile when I eat is not fake.
With creamy mascarpone,coffee bits.
Eating pure bliss while listening to funky beats.
Or maybe a chocolate sundae.
The chocolate made of magic and bliss.
